Redding Consortium Work Groups met and produced Interim Recommendations in 2020. These work groups are no longer active. This page lists the meeting materials for the four past work groups:

Educator Work Group (Not Active)
Purpose:
This Work Group was tasked with reviewing local data and best practice research to create recommendations for the recruitment, retention, and equitable allocation of diverse, highly-effective educators in the City of Wilmington. Based on recommendations for this Work Group, Redding Consortium Work Group leadership is currently working with the Delaware Higher Education Office to monitor the Redding Consortium Schools Scholarship.

Settlement Work Group (Not Active)
Purpose:
This Work Group was tasked with reviewing how the Delaware education equity lawsuit settlement is implemented by the state and General Assembly and to ensure the Consortium responds appropriately. This workgroup provided recommendations related to the lawsuit and was sunset in 2023.

Social Determinants Work Group (Not Active)
Purpose:
This Work Group focused on the social determinants of health and education. The Work Group had three focus areas: Racial and Social Justice; School and Community Partnerships for Wraparound Services; and Holistic Child Development focusing on Birth to age 5.
This Work Group made several key recommendations that are now being implemented at the state and local level. The main recommendations relate to wraparound service grants, expanding full-day pre-k, and creating an education equity dashboard. These programs and efforts are being monitored by Redding Consortium Work Group leadership.
